WYOMING WILD BARBECUE SAUCE

I'm lazy and looked it up. These are the typical ingredients found in our most popular regional recipe for barbecue sauce. Mine doesn't use ketchup but substitutes canned or fresh cooked tomatoes. I also add a half to a cup of red wine and apple cider vinegar instead of red wine vinegar. I thought since my cookie recipe was a hit maybe the barbecue sauce woudl be too. LOL

1 cup chili sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup steak sauce
1 tablespoon Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoons horseradish
3 tablespoons dry mustard
2 tablespoons Tabasco pepper sauce
1 tablespoon dark molasses
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

In a medium-sized bowl, combine all ingredients. Whisk until sauce is well blended.

Store in a 1-quart covered jar in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Use with beef, chicken, pork or game. This recipe yields 3 cups of sauce.
