I hereby retract the comment I made elsewhere about Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney. I just received the info below from my brother:

Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney's name/signature is all over my performance reports, he is a no nonsense commander that does not lie, and that doesn't make him real popular since he retired... As Jack Nicholson: Col. Nathan R. Jessep stated in A Few Good Men (1992) YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Now that is exactly what Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney would have said... By the way I retired just before he did, he is certainly an interesting fellow and as honorable as they come!
