QUID PRO QUO & FOREIGN AID

Judging by very recent history, “quid pro quo” must surely be a serious crime, likely worthy of even more than the seven to nine years imprisonment the perfidious jackals “prosecuting” Roger Stone were about to recommend to Stone’s sentencing judge, a known Obamite whore, who would undoubtedly have gleefully complied with their recommendation.
In the latest iteration of the ongoing seditious coup to remove the duly elected President of the United States from office, a field grade Army Infantry officer, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, very obviously having been promoted well beyond his zone of competence and comfort, became triggered when he witnessed a Top Secret/SCI telephone conversation between POTUS and the President of Ukraine, wherein mention was made of his former client, the former Vice President of the United States, Joseph Biden, as the possible subject of a criminal investigation. Vindman’s triggering turned to alarm when certain specifics were mentioned in the conversation, and he immediately lost bladder control, running first to heavily Deep State-connected Swamp Creature Eric Ciaramella, and then directly to the chairbeing of the House Oversight Committee on Intelligence, the congenital liar, loser, and leaker, Adam “The Quiff” Schiff.
Once Schiff, a highly partisan conspirator deeply involved in the seditious coup to overthrow the legitimately elected government of the United States, became involved, the die was cast, and it became inevitable that the coup would proceed with an attempt, by faux Constitutional means, to remove President Trump from office, using scurrilous allegations of non-crimes in an attempt to hoodwink the American electorate and to encourage participation in the coup by an all-too-willing Democrat Senatorial minority.
“Was there a ‘quid pro quo?’” became the central theme and thrust of the coup’s “impeachment” effort, and people who had never before heard the phrase became experts in its meaning and usage in the criminal law. Make-Believe Media “experts” would gravely inform us that “If, in fact, there was a quid pro quo, the president has committed an impeachable offense.” We were then treated to weeks of similar media bullsh*t while the non-story was milked well beyond its logical conclusion, when, FINALLY, the Senate acquitted the president of the non-charges and the Swamp settled back to its normal putrid state.
“Something for something” or, “something given or received for something else,” dictionary definitions of “quid pro quo,” suggest rather persuasively that this is the normal way business is conducted in a free society, and that this is the way foreign affairs are conducted in the real world.
What, for example, is the purpose of American taxpayer-provided foreign aid sent to this or that nation state in the second or third world? Are we sending them money for a reason? Really? What’s the reason? Is it not that we EXPECT them to behave in a manner favorable to the interests of the United States? This isn’t a “quid pro quo?”
At the risk of sounding like that criminal moron Biden, “Give me a break!”
