“DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM,” WAVE OF THE FUTURE?
R. A. Schultz
“Democratic Socialism,” defined: “A politically- and historically-naïve quasi-religious body of erroneous eco- and socio-political delusion combining two fundamentally-opposing political concepts for the purpose of resisting, by whatever means at hand, the will of the American People as expressed in the 2016 presidential election.”
Thankfully, the post-modern Democrat Party has finally entered the terminal stage of its death-spiral. The thanks, in large measure, goes to Barack Hussein Obama II and his disciples, as well as to Hillary Rodham Clinton and her minions. The radicalization of the party advances hourly, while increasing numbers of party loyalists come to realize that their party has left them; they haven’t left the party. The #WalkAway movement is the result.
In its place, the Democrat Party’s new alignment, still plunging to the left, has completely turned off the party’s former base of blue-collar working class Americans of all age groups and races. The descent began with the death of John F. Kennedy and the advent of identity politics. The new base becomes increasingly un-American, attracting inner-city welfare recipients, illegal aliens, and young revolutionist wannabe’s. It is well-funded by a crazy-quilt collection of aging Hollywood Marxists, mentally-impaired America-hating billionaires, UN-worshiping foreign criminal entrepreneurial thugs, and delusional New World Order faux intellectuals. The bar scene in Star Wars comes to mind.
What’s really dangerous about this new movement is its ability to attract large numbers of millennial voters, the majority of whom have little knowledge of reality, much less of history and economics. These are the brainwashed, or in many cases brainless, snowflakes who seriously think the federal government has a bottomless pit of money so that everybody can have government-provided healthcare, a $15 minimum wage, a country without borders, an end to law and order, and no end of assorted “free stuff!”
It’s difficult to be optimistic about the outcome of all of this!
Margaret Thatcher said, "The problem with socialism is that you eventually you run out of other peoples money."
