RESTORING OUR FAITH IN FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has proven, over these many years, to be incompetent, lazy, sloppy, and, under the Obama administration, politically weaponized against We the People, as well as being otherwise rendered useless. The agency’s performance in such high profile cases as the Branch Davidians, Ruby Ridge, the Oklahoma City Bombing, the downings of TWA 800 and EgyptAir 990, among others, simply confirmed that the FBI has had a history of a self-serving political agenda. The current ongoing unpleasantness surrounding the Russian Collusion Hoax makes it imperative that the agency be abolished.
This can be accomplished relatively simply as follows: 1. Move the US Marshal’s Service from the Department of Justice to the Department of Homeland Security; 2. Transfer the FBI’s law enforcement and investigative functions to the US Marshal’s Service; 3. Transfer the FBI’s counterintelligence functions to the Intelligence and Analysis section of the Department of Homeland Security; 4. Leave a skeleton investigative force at the disposal of the US Attorney’s Offices solely to assist in preparation of cases for prosecution. 5. NO ONE currently employed in the agency should be retained in any government position; 6. Purge the Department of Justice from top to bottom and re-establish strict enforcement of the Hatch Act.
After the foregoing has been accomplished, ALL other law enforcement agencies currently within the Department of Justice must ultimately be transferred to the Department of Homeland Security. Some, such as the Coast Guard and Secret Service already reside there. The sole function of the DOJ would then become the prosecution of cases brought in federal courts. DOJ would no longer have control over investigative / law enforcement agencies.
