THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM: THE FORT HOOD MASSACRE

R. A. Schultz

On Thursday, November 5, 2009, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, US Army, opened fire on his fellow soldier at Fort Hood, Texas, killing 13 and wounding 32, some seriously, before being brought down by a female base police officer, Sergeant Kimberly Munley, who was wounded in the exchange of gunfire.  Hasan unfortunately survived but on August 23, 2017, a general court martial sentenced him to death.  He is currently awaiting execution in Leavenworth.

The tepid response to this act on the part of the supposed commander in chief as well as the politically correct response of the then-Army chief of staff are quite telling.  Petrified of offending Muslims, the president warned Americans not to “jump to conclusions” about the motive of Hasan, an American-born Muslim who had been in contact with a radical Muslim cleric in Yemen, had attempted to contact al Qaeda, had transferred personal funds to recipients in Pakistan, had passed out copies of the Qur’an earlier on the day of his attack, and who yelled “Allahu akbar” while he was mowing down his defenseless victims.  General George W. Casey, Jr., in a public statement following the massacre, cited the Army’s “diversity” as a “strength.”

To anyone who has lived a few years on Planet Earth, the motive for the brutal attack is painfully obvious.  Hasan is a radical Muslim, an Islamofascist who knowingly and willingly committed multiple acts of premeditated murder and attempted murder in the name of Allah.  To treat this atrocity as anything less than it is, is an exercise in blatantly stupid denial.

As if Hasan's atrocity were not enough, July of 2011 saw the arrest of another U.S. Army Islamofascist fanatic, PFC Naser Adbo, a U.S.-born soldier of Jordanian descent.  Adbo went AWOL from Fort Campbell, KY over the July 4 weekend and turned up a few weeks later when he was arrested by Killeen, Texas police in a motel three miles from Fort Hood's main gate in possession of weapons and explosives.  He admitted his intent to bomb a restaurant frequented by military personnel from Fort Hood and to shoot any survivors.  He is currently serving two consecutive life terms in a federal prison.

It's bad enough that we have to fight these vermin in third world hell-holes like Afghanistan, but to have them in our midst, having infiltrated our own military, is simply unacceptable.

Actually, it IS global in scope. Consider the Russian problem with the Chechens, the Chinese problem with the Uigers, the Sri Lankan problem with the Tamils, and just about every non-Muslim country's problem with the Muslims in general! Truly, the jihadis and their cohorts are capable of striking ...
