I finally got the wifi code to work and dug out the laptop to get online here! However, from time to time it quits or drops out and it's a waiting game for how long it will take to get back on. This is  my third try to post here  - waiting to see if it takes this time,)

I heard the mega yachts crank up and suck up all the wifi juice from the Marina with their multiple equipment services using the internet. Sometimes it's a matter of a boat going by or just rocking too much to the point of losing a signal. But for this moment I have internet and am using it to purchase a canister vacuum we really need.

I have never said this before in my entire life, but I can't wait to vacuum these floors!

Today was spent cleaning exactly one head and it took all day. It was just as filthy as the last one. I also got the mid cabin finished and ugh in there too. But now I can start putting away some bathroom things and towels etc.

One of these days, I won't wake up and spring to my feet with dread of the cleaning project ahead. I have been doing this so long, first at the house, now here, that I barely remember what it was like not to have to. And then comes the unpacking.

It seems like an eternity since I arrived on this boat but it has been exactly 7 days now. My past home is a dim memory and I sometimes think, when this trip is over I'll be heading back there. Then reality sets in and I realize I won't ever go there again.

My back is hurting so bad. I hope I can sleep tonight. Last night I was up until 4:00 AM even after 4 pain pills. I want to say maybe I'm getting too old for this stuff, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. Speaking of towels, I have a bunch of them out of bags waiting for me to go fold and figure out where they go.

But first I'm ordering that vacuum, and the towels may just have to wait.

And while I'm on the subject of towels, boo boo kitty was grumpy and mad all day. I tried everything to calm her down. I put her where she could look out but she wasn't impressed. I gave her treats and it wasn't enough. I petted and talked to her repeatedly but she remained restless. Finally I changed out her napping towel on the couch and she curled up and went promptly to sleep happy as a clam. I think she is getting cabin fever though.... (I know I am)
