The Better Care Reconciliation Act of 2017 ("BCRA"), does not repeal all the unconstitutional parts of the Affordable Care Act. If the Republicans pass it they will be passing an unconstitutional bill, which will become an unconstitutional law. President Trump and the Republican Congress will be only different by degrees and not by character, then President Obama and the Democratic congress that gave us Obamacare.
If the BCRA bill becomes law the Republicans will own Obamacare (renamed as Trumpcare). They will buy it, just as it is going over the cliff and the repeal, that was not repeal, that Trump and the Republicans enacted will get all the blame. Democrats will retake Congress in 2018, Trump will be impeached, and we will get single payer "Shumercare".
The only bill, among those offered, that is constitutional is the 2015 repeal bill. That bill may not be perfect but does not reaffirm parts of the ACA. A clean repeal bill would be better and President Trump would probably sign it. He does not care what he signs. That is a blessing and a curse, because President Trump could just as easily cause his own salvation as his doom.
If you are NeverTrump or if you love Trump, stop quibbling and let him and your Representatives know, that you want repeal!
