I have heard this JFK address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, on April 27, 1961 many times but never has it struck home like it did when I watched the brief video attached below. In it, his speech was edited for specific content and illustrated with points we find in today's news and in our current circumstances.
It is potent to describe in detail the clear and present danger we live in and face today. His warning to us was ominous at the time but we could not begin imagine how they would play out in our future.
