Last week our Church class assigned us the challenge to come up with ten dating rules for Christian teens. This is my list. 
1. Only date other Christians
2. Double date until your parents say it is okay to go out alone
3. Date in public places not at houses unless the parents are home and you stay in the living room or other family areas, not in the bedroom
4. Except for holding hands, or a kiss on the cheek, don't touch each other inappropriately
5. Know the person you are dating long enough to be friends first
6. Follow your parent's guidelines about what time to be home
7. Always tell your parents the plans for the date like where you are going and who will be there.
8. Don't take or give inappropriate gifts like expensive jewelry
9. Date a few different people at least before you think you found your right one to give yourself a chance to see what you like in a person.
10. Always honor God and your parents when you are on a date
