CBS Sports Rejects Ad Featuring Child Reciting Pledge Of Allegiance ‘Too Political’


The national cable sports network rejected a 30-second television advertisement from Windermere Real Estate that shows company owner Dave Retter's adorable granddaughter delivering the pledge with her hand over her heart.


CBS Sports said the ad was "too political" to air during the network's upcoming broadcast of the Wrangler Champions Challenge rodeo.



(IMHO Pledging to the American Flag is NEVER Political but rather a statement of belieft in the ideals that the flag stands for. No matter how short this country may fall from the ideals of freedom and justice for all, as long as they are alive in the hearts of our citizens, there is hope that we may live up to them.)

I would have never thought of it as political! It's a pledge of allegiance to our country, & that's not politics, it's conviction!
