I have been advised to look into Self Insurance for my Business to avoid costly Obamacare

I am not advocating it or suggesting it is an answer at this point. Being it has been suggested to me I am in the early investigation stages. If anyone has input I would appreciate hearing it and I am passing on information about it below. I may use this blog to collect further details in one place. I was told that the businesses with self insurance are not obligated to participate in Obamacare. Typically this is a plan of a large corporation but it occurred to me that it might be viable for smaller businesses as well.
