Another Florida Republican Exec Committee Votes No On Common Core

I would like to announce that the Republican Executive committee of St John’s County, Florida just passed a resolution against common core. The vote was almost unanimous. This is significant because our Florida State Senator is John Thrasher, who just last month, was one of the former Florida State Republican Committee chairmen that sent out a letter supporting Common core.  Maybe it will not change his mind but it may make him think. Then maybe he will read some of the stuff I sent him. I believe the full story will be on coming from TheReportCard whose founder Bill Korash was instrumental in this resolution being brought up and passed.

Speaking of common core information, in case this anyone has not seen the research paper from the Florida Stop Common Core Coalition is great. It has some information specific to Florida but it is a great primer for anyone who needs to know about common core.
