This is one of the most informative and illustrative articles I've read about the monstrosity of common core. There are too many diverse angles that this article covers to properly excerpt from it so I am just passing it on because I think it is a real eye opener and something you might also want to pass on esopecially to those who don't understand what the problem with common core is.
