A rash of recent law suits and job losses have resulted in Christians being forced to serve "protected" groups like people who kill their unborn children and gays wanting to get "married." These suits are expensive as well as time consuming. Additionally, gays use them to establish legal precedents and court rulings further defining the laws that establish their agenda so skillfully laid out in the communist manifesto whether they realize it or not. Apparently only the Muslims in the United States of America are able to use their religious beliefs to get out of following laws that demand compliance with beliefs they don't agree with. Christians are left looking for other solutions and ways around being forced to support what is considered to be a sin.

Please read that again - "Apparently, only the Muslims in the United States of America are able to use their religious beliefs to get out of following laws that demand compliance with beliefs they don't agree with. " I'll give you two examples right off the bat. 1 Muslims wearing Burkas are not searched the same way as even a nun might be wearing similar garb at TSA checkpoints. 2 Muslims do not have to participate in Obamacare.

I've been thinking a lot about this and it seems to me that instead of refusing to serve and ending up in a truck load of trouble over it, that Christians need a smarter strategy and new tactics.

These are a few of my ideas and whether they can be used would best be something consulted with an attorney before just taking my word for it or before subjecting yourself to a lawsuit of possibly a different sort. What I am really trying to convey here is that you could possibly find other legitimate ways out of being forced to participate in something believed to be against God's laws. I applaud and fully support those willing to fight, but not all who engage in business may have the resources to do it. The following kinds of ideas are for those who aren't financially, physically or emotionally prepared to stand up for justice. Fighting for legal rights is a grueling process and the left is armed with funds to fight for willing tools of their agendas. And as we all know, America has the best Justice that money can buy.

Bottom line, I am just saying lets get real and realistic.

In the case of a bakery: You may have the greatest opportunity of all to send what you don't want to support right out of your door without refusing to serve. Let the couple know how you feel in the most brutally honest way possible using the most descriptive words possible. You still have a right to express your opinion in your own place of business don't you? (Actually, I'm not sure about that in this country anymore. We are no longer the land of the free in any sense of the word for the most part.)  Providing free speech still exists to the minute degree of allowing you to speak freely about your opinions, eventually one of them will pipe up that you can't refuse to make their cake. That's when you grin and say, I didn't say I wouldn't make your cake, I just wanted you to know how I feel about it and if you still want me to make your cake, I'll be MORE THAN GLAD TO. And then all you have to do is look pleased at the opportunity.

Don't threaten. Don't refuse. Just let them know that it is up to them to decide if they want to spend their day wondering if someone drooled in their cake. (Accidentally of course.) And no I am not suggesting you actually do anything to their cake. It is the uncertainty that is needed.

Yes, yes, yes, ... that's right... make them wonder. Do you really think they will want to order a cake from you after that?

For photographers: Maybe you can add or take advantage of a service related to potential client counseling that will give you opportunities to let your feelings be known. Nicely of course - oh yes nicely - no badgering and no meanness, just blunt truth. Explain how photography is artistry and naturally subjects are treated as they are seen in the eye of the artistic beholder. Spend time making sure they feel comfortable hiring you after hearing your position with the understanding that you can't help but necessarily be moved by your inner artist to capture their "special day."  If they really want to give you their money then give them what they deserve for their lifelong memories based on your undeniable artistic abilities.

What I am getting at here is that I just know if you try you can find a way to at least dampen their enthusiasm about using your services without giving them the fodder they need to sue you.

Perhaps you will need to stop quoting over the phone and make appointments for prospective customers to get a sense of who you are dealing with.

If you are grumpy as all get out before the event can they say they didn't get what they bargained for if you show up in the same mood?

Are your terms negotiable depending on what is needed? Is it possible that your rates might be way out of their budget or what they can get for their budget is far below what they are hoping for? Does the law control how much you charge when every thing is a variable? I don't see how it could as no two weddings are alike. Put in your bid and let the cards fall where they may. (But watch out for the test case that walks in and orders exactly what you provided for one of their straight siblings or friends because some of them who are willing tools are devious enough to do that.)

Or maybe it's, oh darn, your calendar is too full or you don't have the right equipment or skills to fulfill their particular needs.

If they decide to use your services anyway, be sure to fulfill your agreement to the standards you promise. Just be very accurate about your feelings and let them decide if they will chance the results. This is no different than what people do every day when the association is more desirable and all contracts are entered with a risk as no one can foresee a unexpected and unfavorable outcome that may happen per chance.

These ideas are just to get businesses thinking in their self defense and to look for offensive maneuvers to protect their right to exist according to the laws of a higher power. The most important thing Christians can do is to work to elect judges and representatives that have two licks of sense in their heads enough to realize that to force a business to serve someone in a manner that is against their religious beliefs is discrimination as well! And that goes triple for situations where other religions are not forced to comply.

Have you ever wondered why none of these cases have ever been against Muslims who would also not choose to participate in the same manner? It is designed that way! The left needs them and uses them as puppets in their agendas and for now they are protected. The government who tells you your religion doesn't matter, unless you are a Muslim, is not the government that the founders of this nation envisioned or the one that many who valued freedom died for.

Christians get creative!!!! I'm sure with prayer and common sense you will come up with a way to prevent yourself from participating without going to court over it and if you can't then get your attorney to brain storm with you. There has to be something more than having all Christians drug through the court system and forced to comply with things against their beliefs.

What's next for Christians in America? The lions' den?

I can't understand why the Catholic Church hasn't stood up against the inequalities shown among 'religions'. It should begin with the Pope. All he has to do is to tell the TRUTH about Islam.

If you told a Muslim that he could not pray on public thoroughfares there would be a fatwa put out before ...

It is too fantastic to believe that they don't understand so that just leaves that they know what they are doing and are part of the problem we face.

Pope Benedict has said that Islam and Christians do not follow the same God.

Perhaps though you didn't hear about it unless you attend a Catholic Church that has a Priest who actually talks about this stuff.

It is talked about in my church also but the Catholic Church in general is doing nothing in protest or defense about the difference in treatment or the general attack on Christians around the world that I can see. They allowed the abortion portion of Obamacare to stand without more than a few statem...

I think the church is expecting the followers to fight this themselves. They are only there to guide spiritually. When Benedict was Pope...he said that the collection plate monies were being given to Israel during Easter Mass and a few other times also during the year were given to other Christian ...
