This recipe can be altered. I think what makes it Wyoming Stew is the meat & vegetables preparation in a skillet and the crescent rolls on top.
My version, if I don't have fresh chicken broth, (I don't used canned) I substitute with tomato juice or juice of the mixed vegetables that I boil if I need the juice. (Fresh, I don't usefrozen.) I add extra onion and seasonings. It isn't traditional but I like french seasonings. A person with a good imagination can think of a lot of variations. I've had this made many ways.
I haven't made stew in quite some time and it's getting to be the season where good and hearty hot meals will be on the stove or in the oven!
