It started out innocently enough. I had a long box on my desk where I started putting things in it when I was too busy and then too sick to get to it before Christmas. (Sigh, yes I know that has been some seven months ago.) Finally, the box overflowed and I dug into it today.
Now as I have finally moved on to phase two of processing this "stuff" by either dealing with it, throwing it away, or sorting it into six other action piles, I can add up my best finds! -> $50.00 bill in a Christmas card, A fifty dollar Dillards reward card that I had forgotten I earned, $147.79 worth of other gift cards, a dollar worth of coupons and eleven cents!
Woot!
If I'd known that I had such a stash under the piles of paper and envelopes, I would have cleaned my desk sooner. 
Coolest thing I found is a toss up between a Christmas card picture of my friend's daughter's family. I was so sick at Christmas I never looked at it. And a gift of a hanging plaque that says Each Day is a gift, live it with Aloha. :D
